Madison Franks

Madison Franks is a senior in the School of Computing, studying computer science.  She has always had an ever-loving passion for learning, technology, and helping others. Prior to attending Wichita State University, she attended Barton Community College graduating with an associate in science, being named an Outstanding Graduate Finalist, she has previously done research at Barton Community College in collaboration with students as well as faculty from Kansas State University and Dodge City Community College under the Groundwater Geopath Research project. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Technology, and how it is becoming relevant in day-to-day interactions. Outside of academics she has danced for nearly 20 years while being on a nationally ranked team for 2 years at Barton Community College. Amongst performing she has also been teaching dance for nearly 5 years. She also enjoys traveling, shopping, building Legos, and diamond painting.
